    1998 WS6, 1969 Camaro

    Talking Highschool drags today!!!

I worked straight through the night to get my 1969 Camaro ready for the races. I swaped Transmissions, springs, rearends and I had to replace the gears in the new rearend. I even had to drop the gas tank. So hopefully I will hit low 12's.

    Wish me luck!

trans am is awsome. So much better than I thought. (anyone looking for a trans am definatly go for the WS6!!!! It's worth it!)

I live in washington. It is awsome. All the highschools compete against each other at the track to see who has the most consistant car. Over 350 cars showed up last year. And when I got out there was only 8 left. It was a ton of fun.

Thanks. But my dad actually stayed up all night to help me. So it wasn't just me. btw: we also put SFC's on.

Although it didn't turn out so well. I started up my 69 and backed out of the garage this morning and It started smoking really bad. So I look underneath the car and the headders and transmission are on fire! So I grabbed a fire extigusher and put the fire out. The fire was caused by a gasket in the transmission blew and it lost all 11 quarts of oil on the driveway, and the headders which ignited to oil. There is no permanent damage but at this point I had to ditch the 69 camaro and I decided to run my ws6 at the drags.

Well by the time I got there they were starting eliminations. So I just set my dial at 14.5 and started to race. Later the races were delayed because of rain. They will resume on wednesday. But so far I am still in the competition. I just let off the throttle just enough not to break out of my bracket. So overall the day was a little disapointing but I had a blast with the ws6.
