help, engine replacement... rookie needing advice
can i buy an lq4 motor from a HD truck and put my LS1 accessories on it? how much boost can i safley run on that block stock? i think i could get a mild mile motor that runs good for a decent amount to run for a while and if it blows i can build the stroker that i want. im just not sure how much it takes to switch over. any advice is appreciated!

I could be wrong, but I think you can transfer LS1 accessories to the LQ4 motor. I dunno the boost limit tho.

I think theres something to do with the oil pump that you have to change....i'm not sure though.
although im pretty sure its not just a simple swap, not difficult, just not that easy

can the lq4 be bored to the 409 and 418ci motors they like to run now or is that the lq9 or 6.2l?
