White- 2001 Camaro Z-28
Head & Cam Package?
I just bought a set of heads that are 241 castings, ported & polished, angle milled, 2.02 intake valves, 1.60 exhaust valves, comp dual springs. The Cam is .625 lift 252-268 duration with 112 lobe separation. The package is supposed to yield 450 hp and 465 lb ft of torque. My question is this, Will the car be slower off the line with this large of a Cam? Will I need a larger stall? Will I have valve clearance problems?
The car is 2001 Z28, ruthless off the line as it sits, stock motor, SLP Long tubes, Cold Air Intake, 3" True Duals, 2600 stall, Vette servo, 3.73's custom PCM tune, MSD Coils, & BFG Drags.
