I had something similar to this about 5 months ago when I did all the suspension work on my SS. Turns out the one part which I never upgraded which was my shocks was making an annoying squeek noise in the back. They got replaced after that so maybe that will help you. Your car have alot of miles on it? Try and think of when you can remember first hearing the noise and if you made any modifications around that time.

Mines only got 39,000 miles and is a 2000, when you do mods to your suspension like lowering it it changes the position of the shock and like mine started to leak fluids causing it to squeek.

My car was squeaking too when I got it. The shocks were leaking. When I put in the lowering springs, I changed the shocks and it went away.

On the problem with a squeak up front check the hood latches there is when hood is closed a slight hook that goes in to the top part of the hood latch ,look at the hook part ,use cresent wrench to move it towards motor slightly or towards your fender try to see any rubbing of paint off hood latch i found my squeak after about a year or so.
