Good Deal?

I think it is and I'm probably gonna buy it but wanted to see what you guys thought. 98 red Z28 with T-tops, leather, 6 spd., flowmaster muffler, hypertech III, 160 degree thermo, short shifter, chrone rims, skip shift eliminator, monsoon stereo, great paint, leather is impecable. The only flaws are minor body scrathes and such that would be normal for a car of that age. Oh only 64k miles. Guy wants $9500 I figure I'll give him 9000.

i think you could do better for that year. $8,000 might be a little more in the ballpark for that car.

it doesnt sound bad to me. if he is asking 9500 offer him like 8000. your not there to make friends, then meet somewhere in between like 8700. How long has he had it for sale?

He's had it for sale for 2 days. I know it's a little on the higher end of things and I figure the offer for 8500 wouldnt be a bad idea. I know he's really lookin to get in the 9's and he made it pretty clear that he didn't want to let it go for less than that.

I hope to have her tomorrow. I can't wait I had the exact same car 2 years and blew it up and I can't believe how much I missed it. I am gonna leave her alone this year but next spring she is gonna get a little nitrous. Hope someday I can afford forged internals and a turbo.

how did you blow the last one?

I'm embarassed to say that I'm not sure how I blew it up. I got extremely drunk and tried to drive home one night and woke up at a stop sign and my car wouldnt start. Best I can guess I fell asleep wth my foot on the gas pedal. I'm lucky to say the least. I don't drive after more than 2 beers now so I don't have to worry about that again.
