I'm installing Trickflow 225's and a pretty big cam next month, I hope to see a high 10 second pass, not sure what the dyno numbers will be.

37rwhp more from an A4 to a manual would mean that there's a 8.5% additional loss because he's using an A4. That seems a bit high to me.

Are you sure an A4 is that less efficient? I thought it was more around 3% between the two.

They say about 25 hp loss with a stalled A4. I lost 30whp going from a 10bolt to the s60.

Based on that, my relatively stock 02 SS would have DYNO'd 360rwhp without my 9" because it DYNO'd 330rwhp with the 9" (on a Mustang DYNO to boot). Completely stock other than exhaust and lid.

I read in GM High Performance Magazine that the 9" was 6% less efficient than the 10 bolt, and the 10 bolt had 3% parasitic loss. S60 was 3% less efficient than the 9". So, overall, the S60 would be 9% less efficient and the 9" would be 6% less efficient.

Always thought the total drive-train loss on a M6 was around 17% and A4 was 20%.

Regardless, he needs to get it to the track - once it idles right

I know the S60 is a little less efficient than the 9", but not by much.

I run Bogart D10's on our car at the track with Hoosier QTP's -- skinnies in the front and meats in the back. They are extremely lightweight and our car dead hooks on launch. Lots of members run Mickeys and Nittos and they all seem to like how they perform.

I hate my Nittos at the track. Work great on the street though.

I run Mickey Thomsons at the track and love the way it hooks, 1.57 60 fts all day. My nitto nt05r's suck at the track, couldn't get out of the 1.9 60fts but they hook well on the street.
