my car isn't to bad on traction, but i do have the factory 16 inch aluminum wheels.
I think my tire width is abou 10 inches
my next mod i want the corvette c6 wheels. they look great and i can stick about an 11.5 inch rear tire on it. thathould help out a little on traction
also look at slp front k member it gives more room for longtube exhaust and 30 lbs lighter, not much but every little helps

NBM- '98 Ram Air Formula
13.02 @ 108 mph on street tires. That is before kooks lt and ory with corsa and vigilante 3000 with trans beefed up and rebuilt. I still need a tune before taking it back to the track. Next will be some suspension mods and drag radials.

pewter- 2000 camaro ss
I ran a 8.50 in the 1/8th the other night. 2000 CAMARO SS, A4, pulley, lid, Diablo tune, used stock SS rims/tires because my ET Streets are 2 inches taller and i lost time until i retune and gear upgrade to 3:73 plus Converter.

ran a 13.56 with my 2000 Z28 A4, super chip, 3.42 gears, flowmaster exhaust, it was my first time drag racing so my reaction times sucked and i couldnt catch much traction with my stock 16 in wheels, looking to get a cold air intake and some wider wheels

I just got my 99 Z28 dyno tuned on a Mustang Dyno, and managed to do 300 RWHP, and 289 RWT after having LT's, ORY, and a Hooker catback with cutout. I also have an A4 with a 3500 stall, and went to the track the next day and ran a 12.56 @ 108 in the 1/4, a 7.98 at 85 in the 1/8, with a 1.72 60'. My Z28 also has 116,000 miles on it as well.

arctic white- 2000 camaro z28
2000 Z A4 with lid, Flowmaster, CAI, Yank 3000(feels like 2300), stock 2.73s and managed a 13.33 @ 104.9. I had to almost just let the damn thing roll off of the line with my cheap kumhos. With some DRs or stickies I bet I could bust out some 12s
