Aye 35th you and others have nailed it. Unless you're doing the fit, prep and paint yourself, just bend over....

There was another thread way back when on here about this very thing...and that's what I recalled from that thread also. Like any aftermarket body panel, the fitment is never great and body panels need to be tweaked and taken off and moved around to get all the lines to match up. Hell, GM can barely get it right and they mass produce, so just imagine how hard it is for another mfg (non-related) to even get it close.

Going to cost about $7XXX if you have a body shop do it (Which is needed unless you are a master) and the panels. Fuck that!

On topic OP: It really really isn't worth it in the long run unless you have quite a bit of money to flush down the toilet (Rich or very well off) Like I said, when I looked in to it and talked with my body guy it came around the tune of 7+ K when it was all said and done. I had it figured to shave about 2XX lbs or so (Give or take) That would help but spend the money on something else.

I love it but won't do the CF until I'm rich

Carbon fiber panels are not the way to go. Get the plastic/urethane car covers that drag cars use or track cars. Then its inexpensive and lighter than carbon.

Also unless the body man is extremely experienced those carbon fiber panels will not fit right on your vehicle with out fabrication I don care what anyone else says about that. Also, the body shop man that does will hate you for life because it is very hard to put after market panels on! even if they were designed for the car itself!
