I think it's to dark and not a very interesting or exciting color.

reason why i chose the color was just cuz im a lil tired of seeing the bright red color on my camaro...so decided to go a lil darker...i think it looks alot better than factory red

I'm trying to get the paint all nice and pretty. It's a lot of work! I clayed it and hit it with Menzerna power gloss and am doing Wolfgang final glaze right now. I still have to do the Wolfgang paint sealant and Pinnacle Soverian wax yet. I got lots of nasty scratches out of it so I'm happy so far. I smacked my head on a shelf in the process and got a nice golf ball size welt on my head too.

how much does it cost for a new paint job like that?

3600 for prep job ..
plus 800 bux for the paint at ppgs
=4400
i know the guy so subtract that amount by 3600
...all in all it came out to 1600
800for paint
800 for prep

I like the darker red a lot better than factory GM red. It should look sharp and shine more at dusk and dawn. Post some picks when you get it back.
