Gen III vs. Gen IV
I don't quite remember what thread I read it in, but someone was saying that all the 02's have Gen IV LS1's in them. I just checked my RPO codes and mine is a Gen III. Is there any big difference?

An LS1 is a gen III
But you have a gen IV camaro.
Do a search. They just talked about it on here not too long ago.

yep, the LS1 is a Generation III Chevy Small Block and 93-02 F-Bodys are the 4th generation of F-Bodys.

Gen 4 also refers to the LS2. Almost every part if differant.
