Front plate States...GRRRRR

I live in Chicago Illinois, a state that requires front plates. It really bothers me as there's nothing that ruins the look of a car like a front plate and bracket. Rant off.

Thank God we don't have that here. Previous owner had a Kiss My SS tag on the front, and while I chuckled at it, I quickly removed it after purchase, along with the skull/bone border, the Coca-Cola stickers on the windows (she worked for Coke), the angel ornament from the mirror, and some anime cartoon sticker I assume her kid stuck to the back hatch.

Sworn - there is an electronic license plate that hides itself and then comes down with the flip of a switch.

I just got pulled over again 2 months ago. 5 times pulled over for this haha and my last 2 times i had to show the officer it was there, just had it mounted on my lower air dam. Now it is behind my black billet grille. It is kinda hidden but doesnt cover any of my front end up

Ive seen them be placed behind a billet grille before which doesnt look too bad.

I actually just ordered the SLP front plate bracket, at least it will look a litttle better.

Chicago Municipal Code dictates that it must be mounted in a certain way. I had it on the lower air damn my old T/A and got dinged for it......

My t/a looked out of place with the gap and front plate. I stuck the bird cover back on and had a vinyl phoenix colored as the American flag. Not stopped once after that mod. Would be downright unpatriotic

bought my ss out of Texas, car has a billet grille and behind it is the texas license plate. its kinda hard to see. so i just left it. seems like a pain to try and remove it,

When I lived there (310 native) it was a fixit ticket. I got so many of them I know it by heart: CVC5200...

My V6 has the front plate.

My TA doesn't,knock on wood so far Aug,Sept,Oct,Nov,Mar,April and now into May no hassles.

I had my 94TA's plate on the air dam and they said it wasn't acceptable.

ive gotten pulled over a total of prolly 4 times for a front license plate, no ticket knock on wood and the closest i will put one visible on there is my front air dam and the hide away plate. hopefully ill get one, i dont want my first ticket to be damn lp bull shit

Just took my front plate off 2 months ago when I installed my billet grille and havent had any problems with the pigs. And theyre real douches here
