i didnt notice anything...i just went ahead and purchased an slp intake and have liked it.

it dropped my intake temp. down significantly but other than that i dont know really

I did it and I can feel a difference near red line

You would feel the most difference from this free mod when you are going fairly fast....at least over 60mph....going slower than that, you probably won't feel that much difference b/c you're not going fast enough to cause a huge amount of air to be swept up into the airbox

However, as dpinson mentioned, you may see your intake temp go down some, even when at idle, since you have created a larger area for air to be brought from beneath the car and sucked up into the vacuum in the intake....

I assume you did the one where you cut out the bottom of the box and a couple of other things? John

aftermarket lid is the best air mod to make early on... if you have a ws6 it might be counterproductive though (The FRA mod... not the lid... lid = good).
