    flasher for turn signals

    The flasher stopped working. I have the $5.00 replacement.I am told it is under my dash. Does anyone know which side and how I can get at it. Thank you for any help.

    You have to remove the plastic cover under your steering wheel. You will neeed a phillips screw driver and a 10mm socket. The flasher (I Belive) is close to shifter. You are NOT going to see the actual flasher. What you will see is a small metal clip, that you must pry up and it holds the flasher.

    The reason I say "I belive" is because these cars have 2. One for the blinker and one for your hazards. The blinker is on one side, close to the center of the car, the hazard is on the opposite side, by the door. Also held in place with a metal clip. I would recomend you turn your hazards on and listen to where the clicking is coming from, then go to the oppsite side for your blinker flasher.

    Thank you it is the blinker that burned out I could hear it before it completely stopped and the sound was coming from behind the radio I will dael with it tomorrow and hopefully report a successful replacement

    first see if u might have some blown bulbs. My blinkers stopped working too, I put new bulbs in place of some blown ones and my blinker worked. U have to have all or most of your lights workin for your blinkers to work.
