Fix the old or find a new

So long story short i have a V6 96 RS Camaro i traded for. the motor lives but dying fast and the front end needs work. (it was in a front end accident airbags deployed and smashed the front to the headlights). my original plan was to 02 ss clone this thing. but not sure i want to invest the time and money when there are so may 4th gens up for sale at the moment.

I am going to have about 5k roughly to do this so i am not sure i want to use that as a down and buy another 4th gen ss in the 00-02 range or scavenge parts to build this v6 POS in to a show car.

Any help is Awesome.

Well since it's been wrecked and you say the engine and front end are not so good I'd have to say let it go and go for the SS idea or z28 and clone it.

as stated above the the 96 is wrecked if you have the money i would buy a Z28 because you had plans to clone it anyways and clone the Z the way you would want it... unless you can find a SS for as cheap as you could get a Z i would go that route...

I started it at 5000 but I've dropped it to 4700, I would drive it to Idaho after a vats bypass, it just needs some tlc as far as mechanical, squeeky belt pulleys, bushings on suspension parts, seats have a few tears in the front, motor is strong runs good

i have been doing research on how to bypass the vats and it looks simple. just need to know what the resistance is of your key. And that would be awesome, i am syked just need to pool all the cash and make a date.
