    Of course it isn't a very good ET for the mods. I run 5800 feet up. But you should now what that does to ET's since you are such a racer....

    What I spent has nothing to do with this. I built my car different than most. Yeah, I spent more money.
    But remember...I could throw a 200 shot at mine if I wanted to. No worries with a forged motor. 750 RWHP maybe?? With a baby 200 shot.

    Do you have a slip showing the said 7??? Didn't think so.

    Stock as in completely stock and bolt on free? wow that 175 shot is gunna mess you up man. The stock manifolds are going to restrict it and rob you out of alot of that power since the engine has to work so hard to get the gasses out. You would benefit from that if you have at the least a set of LT's and exhaust. I can tell you though a guy around here has a forged 402 with fast 90/90 and cam and runs very low 11s naturally aspirated at a crappy track where I ran a 12.2 last time out with bolt ons and 150shot. I sprayed at half track due to traction issues (could have been better im sure) but still would have been beaten by that 402 n/a so you wont beat luos if you put a 175 on your car.

    have you considered an Ls1 swap into your current ride??? dude, you already own the body style, just toss in a well built motor, like a 408 stroker or even an LS2. Don't forget to upgrade the suspension. What a great project! Seriously, consider it.

    I have longtube headers after market maf power programer and a bad ass transmission mega rapter 4l60E think what you want but I can tell you i do have the flat 8 slip and spun halfway down the track duhhhh you dont think with just tires alone that i would be in the 7's time will tell and yes I am going to start out with the 150 shot I know a guys that are running a 200 shot on stock moter with no problems I am bringing it to have it tuned on the dyno for the 150 shot and yes if you think I cant take a second off of the ET with the new addons you are just plain stupid!!!!! Pousson in pcola.......how ya like me now!!

    all I am saying is that I would be disapointed if I spent that kinda money and only ran in the 7's

    hell for $3900 you could put the sts turbo and run in the high 10s low 11's in the 1/4 from what I have read

    I like the SS a little better personally because it has all the power and has a really smooth look about it. Its got an attitude like superman so to speak. The WS6 and Firehawk have more of a batman personality it looks mean as hell and it looks as if it is bragging about it. My car to me looks like it says "I'm cool but don't piss me off because I'll knock your dick in the dirt!"

    I personally love both. I'm more of a layed back guy and the Camaro SS is a layed back kinda car until you feel like changing things up a bit. Firehawk... You'll most likely have somebody wanting to race you every 5 min.

    It is simple.
    Mine is a build. A starting point IF I ever wanted to go further. I make 500+ at the wheels WITHOUT a blower/nitrous/turbo.
    Are there better ways to go fast??? Of course.
    And believe that is would be MUCH faster than 7.7 if I ran it at sea level.
    Mine has the power for mid 10's at sea level. Will it do it?? Probably not. It is full weight, runs on pump gas, etc.
    Probably good for very deep 11's. Maybe a 10 second pass in there.

    But also don't believe that for $4000 you can go low 11's.


    Now...please get back on topic.

    I did look at an ss when I bought my trans am I loved it but it had the LT1 and and the trans am Had The LS1 I like the body of the trans am its curvy like I like my women......im new on here and had fun pushing some of you guys buttons today take a chill pill and call me in the morning...lol
