Finally I got my SS!!!!!
just bought my 2001 SS SOM, 62500 mi, T-tops, M6, Tan/black interior,flowmaster, for 15500.00. I love the car. car is mostly stock and drives strong. I had some concerns about a few things. First my oil pressure gauge starts at 40 and when I step on the gas it moves to about 60. Is this normal? and my temperature gauge is at Half way sometimes a bit below half way. Should it be at a quarter? or is my reading ok? I just thought it might be running a little hotter than what it should be. Maybe its just me..... anyways if you want to see pics go to the other thread called "How much? good deal?"

Well when it warms up the temp guage should read half way. Thats normal. Congrats though!

Good choice! IMO the best color out there. I bought mine when I really shouldnt have but I couldnt pass up the car in the color I always wanted. Clay bar it and wax it up! youll love it for about the 20 mins the pollen stays off of it.

CONGRATS!!!
Everything sounds fine. Temp guage is normally a little below half way on my car. Oil pressure is at 40 at idle and increases when you give her a little gas. I think you made the right call between the two you were looking at. Happy modding!!

ok here is my car after a billet grill that I bought. I also got a SS mba engraved silver shift knob that looks sweet. I have better pics but I have to resize them.oh and thats my car club Wicked Heritage.
