well, hate to bust your balls, but we live in California, no 160 degree thermostat, LT headers, no MAF, no high flow cats. you wouldn't pass emissions.

my 5.0 mustang had all that stuff and with a little tweaking i was always able to get it to pass smog? and it had a cam and gt40p heads and an intake, with some brand new high flow cats and tuning all the settings, fresh tune up, i never had any problems, only thing that didn't pass visual were the headers and i was able to get past that by going to a smog shop in the ghetto.
i can probably get the LT's past visual inspection, but do these cars really pollute that badly once they get some bolt ons?? as long as i dont have anything crazy and it passes the tailpipe test i think i'll be fine right? there has to be some modded cars in CA here that arn't totally illegal?
hate the smog nazis.....

I know a guy with a 99 SS that redid his whole car since he had a friend who worked at a smog place and would pass him. his friend quit and he was screwed, had to take out his LT's and return a bunch of stuff to stock. it says on web sites that all that stuff isn't 50 state-legal.
