I have Hooker longtubes w/ an off road Y-pipe(no cats) w/SLP loudmouth.

It's loud and proud but i wouldn't really call it "obnoxious"

I have Hooker longtubes with the y-pipe,and the SLP loudmouth pipes. I change the SLP resontor to a magnaflow resonator with no cats. she sounds real good.

For the money I think they are pretty good. A lot of people don't like them because of the 2.5 y-pipe.

I'm sure thats an issue for some, but the 2.5inch y doesn't bother me. My car doesn't go to the track. My cats are clogging and this was a cost effective replacement.
For the same money as replacing my stock dying cats I got the headers, y, and engine and trans mounts.
I will be doing the install on friday and I'll post a pics once everything is together.

If you want "Loud" you need to go with a Cutout, and then you might as well get a electric opener too. The cutout is easy to install and so are the openners. You can get two and put them right after the headers but, I think most of us just go with the one placed back near the rear wheel thier is a great openning there to put it. And then you can be loud and obnoxios when you want and quiet when you go by the Cops. Me i use a McCord Power Plate
