I just have a pro flow on mine with gutted cats (stock y & intermediate pipe) and its loud. I am wanting to put on an SPL TOTL and hopefully quiet it down If you want stupid loud, just repeat what you did with your 94. If your cats are working dont gut them. Fine some that are already gutted.

Get some LT headers, off road ypipe and a slp LM1 or 2 and what's nice is you can swap out a dynomax bullet if you wanna chage it up.

(dennis wells)wells racing duncanville tx does a pretty gud job i was very ifey they do work on just about everything but he is highly recommended in several car clubs, he did excellent job on my old car. trust no one when it comes to tuning make lots of phone calls and do research bad tune can cost u fuel miliage, respond time at track and a number of bad things.

I put a Flowmaster Super 40 on mine and it's fairly loud. It sound's good to me(which I know is personal preferance) and I have gotten a couple compliments on how my car sounds.

In case you are interested. Here are a couple of short vids: Stock manifolds and stock y with pipes put in place of cats, and a Flowmaster Super 40.

Sorry, those aren't the best vid's. But those are the only two I have.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

    Why?
Wouldn't a nice tone be better than plain out loud?

If you must have loud, get a cutout and headers while leaving the stock catback in place.

On my last car I took off the muffler. I think it was good. Not dupe loud not quiet
    And it's cheap
Or if you want muffler I would pick magnaflow

I'll chime in and say, if you want loud and a good tone, IMHO Longtubes and a 3" x-pipe system with dynomax bullets. I don't have any videos from outside the car but I'll post one from inside if you are interested. And I'll work on getting one outside the car too.

I agree. I had flowmaster on my 98 TA and it sounded really good. I've got Magnaflow on my 98 z28 and really like the tone.

I don't have anything numbers or experience wise to back this up, but I've seen several posts on here about flowmasters on our cars. A lot of them seem to be saying that they suck for performance.

There are lot of different series of flowmasters out there but personally I have no problems. I put the muffler on with the ORY and cold air intake and noticed a healthy gain in performance. I'm sure there are flowmaster mufflers that flow better than others. I love the sound, very deep and no rasp

hey man just get some lt's i got pacesetter, next cut the cats out and make a true duel system with no mufflers and go into a x pipe and come out. now you can make it work great by coming out the side with side exit exhuast in front of the rear tires, but there is only one type of tip that looks good and it is a boom tube. next put a big cam in and that damn thing will be loud as hell, you should hear mine. ill have to put a sound clip on here one day. i know where you can get those tips too for a good price.

I would love to hear that. Mine aren't side pipes, they are turn downs and I love the sound. Get a video and post it up for us.
