These seem like a good idea in principle, but I can't even imagine how fast that little electric fan would have to spin to move the air in there faster than normal aspiration. Let alone fast enough to have a ram/supercharging effect.

I've never read anything from anyone on any forum that stated these things work. The only positive claims I've ever seen are from the manufacturers. But I kinda have that 'I want to try it for myself' mentality, even though I don't think they'll work, and ppl would laugh at me

Another one of those doohickeys that should have never existed...like the clamp-on muffler turbo thingamabobber.

Like said above, the principal seems sound. However, there is just no way a DC motor is going to be able to add any forced induction affect to a V8.

I have seen videos of dyno results on 4 cylinders and I think they probably do work for small displacment engines.

Now.. If someone created an A/C based one, I think it just MIGHT work.. Maybe not though.

Deffinetly only buy it for the fun of it, at $24.00 it could be worth playing with just for the sake of something to do some Saturday.

It woulkd work but you would need a larger motor and fan. Still seems a little like strapping a leaf blower on and praying.

okay it's called a 'turbo supercharger' in the picture. no

    "Reported Benefits are:"

'Increased Horsepower' - well that would be nice
'Increased Fuel Mileage' - uh okay?
'Better Vehicle Handling' - wat. does it come with koni shocks?
'Extends Engine Life' - just like a real turbo/supercharger does!
'Low cost Upgrade when compared to traditional Turbos and Superchargers' - well how does it compare to a turbo tornado? those are very cost effective too. nosrcsm.

It doesn't tie into the engine. You bolt it to the trunk of the car and it pushes the car.
