    Easy way to do this?

I was replacing my front turn signal housing yesterday and after getting everything loose they were a huge pita to maneuver out. I literally had to pry up bending the plastic bumper almost breaking the housings. I did have my headlights off as well. Well while getting the new ones in(which was even more of a pita) I think I separated the lens on the end. There is condensation inside my left sig. So I need to get them back off. Is there a better way to get them out without completely removing the bumper? Thanks

Don't they just slide out the front?

I got them through the top, my question is regaurding maneuvering the lens out of that little cubby hole it sits in. It seems physically impossible without stretching the bumper to get it out or completely removing the bumper

I think you could take the inner fender liner out,two 8mm or 10mm (sorry, cannot remember which) from in front of the front tire, and the lamp housing should be easily accessible.noticed this when i removed the air pump and secondary air injection system.

yup, If you look from underneath the front bumper there is two 10 mm bolts on each side of the bumper. Remove those and you can open a section of the plastic cover that grants access to the turn signal bulbs.

If you take your headlights out, and then loosen the one bolt that holds on to the bumper they slide right out through the top

I did take the headlights out, loosened the three bolts that hold the light to the bumper. It didn't just slide out tho. There were obstacles blocking each end preventing it from coming out

Im not sure whats up with these sidemarkers i had the same problem as you i had to pry the thing out of the little slot. I also took out headlights. Im wondering if some cars got a slightly different style side marker housing or something.

Finally someone knows what I'm talking about. It's like the sidemarkers are too wide for the space the are in. The only way to do it without prying would be to remove the bumper it seems. What a PITA

I had to pry mine out but the i took a dremel to them so they would go back in easier. My car is also a 2001 i wonder if its only a certain year model that has the problem.

yes i also meant removing the headlight, removing the bolts on the side of the bumper to give it some wiggle room, then you are good to go!
