Drag/Street radials
Hey guys I wanna know if 28" tires will fit on the 01' SS's cuz I measured from ground to the top wheel well and it was close I forget what it was now but I'm pretty certain it was like 28" even if not like an 1/8" more. Cuz I'm wantin to run 15x10's on the rear with a 325/60/15 and thats like 27.8" or 28" even but could you guys let me know soon cuz I'm lookin to buy these wheels soon thanks guys

do you really need to go 1 series wider?
but if you do that...youre total height gets way bigger, going from a 35 profile, to a 60 profile, keep in mind, that means your side wall height will be 60% of 325mm.
your current tires have a overall section width of 12.4 inches, and an overall diameter of 25.68 inches....fits just fine....the 325/60s only give you 1/3 inch more section width, but that 60 series jumps you up to 30.35 inches total diameter.....thats getting a little tall.
last but not least...currently your speedo is reading .08% too slow...minimal, but the new size will have you almost 20% too slow.
The good news is....your rims are the right width, lol

Yes they will fit.
Well, the 28" tires. Not so sure about 30" tires.
Oh....
Hoosier 27x11.5x15 out back. Car is dropped on Strano's.
Probably going to a 28" slick next time around.

Awesome guys thank you and to Mr. Lous that is one bad ass T/A and I love that look with the tires that's exactly what I'm going for, for my car so did you have to roll your fenders too or do what I did and cut the bump stop and beat the inner wheel-well and respray it with an undercoat.

I got lucky.
Everything fit right in.
I don't have bumpstops anymore. Although I do not believe they were in the way. Removed them in the process of figuring out a bog at the track.
