    Decision time...

I have $7500 from a tax rewturn to spend.
    1. Should I buy that motorcycle I really want or.
    2. Should I refresh my 116K old LS1 with heads/cam/push rods/lifters etc.?

    What's your vote?

With these gas price's, I would say go for the bike. But then again, it would be nice to have a fresh setup in a SOM SS.

Option number 2 has been the choice my wife has let me make! LOL! I will spend about $5K on some nice Edelbrock LS1 Heads, a custom Comp Cam package (lifters, rods and rockers), LT headers (not quite sure wich ones yet) and a dyno tune. Should put out about 435 RWHP, that's enough for me.

Damn 116k on a 01 SOM SS? I hear ya that's the way to enjoy a sweet looking ride. Well my choice would have to be the heads and cam mainly because the wife won't let me get a bike either lol. Good luck.

Be nice to that SOM and give it some new shocks and SFC's to help all that power out.
