Cute dyno run
OK so I got an iphone, and tried out the dynolicious app.
First off, I dont have a level non skid surface in my car....and second....its not calibrated....so i dunno how accurate these are....but you get the point
ok now keep in mind this is for measuring 0-60 more than anything.
blue is forward G's, yellow is HP, red is speed.
apparently the 6 cylinder still came with skip shift.., cuz i, for the life of me, could not get the thing into second till i had lost all my RPMs. as you can see by the yellow line....2-3 shift wasnt much better, lol.
60ft was 3.77 which was also about my 0-30 time
0-60 was 11.3
and 1/8th mile was 12.45 at 64mph....i only ran it too 60, so i dunno how it got that...but i had let off before the 1/8th mile mark
point of this isnt to brag....by far.....i just think its funny to actually see how much power you lose during shifts.
since real dynos are just done in one gear, and not from a dig...you dont see that.

Yeah that's bad and/or way off. My auto will smoke those times to 60 but I'm also a y87 Reprogrammed trans and better than factory custom exhaust..ASR off.

Thought about downloading a similar program on the droid to test it out, but after seeing this fail, me thinks not.

well it seems like its actually sensitive...and really feels whats going on...i think its just not a good indicator of true power...but seems good for 0-60, 60ft, etc.
like i said...these werent best times...i just thought that was funny.
i had a 0-60 in the high 7's i think...and a 60ft at about 3.2
i was taking it easy...not really going from a dig...get rolling, then get on it...no launching or anything.
