Creaking when turning below 5MPH
when i turn my steering wheel , my car makes a creaking noise it is deff. something to do with the linkage or steering because it only happens turning at slow speeds when there is more stress on the steering componets, any idea what it could be, how i can check things out?
thanks
Jeff

depending on the noise its could be the power steering pump...check the fluid level

fluid is good, i think the pump is good, it sounds like a linkage creak or something in the suspension, but i dont know what

check your tie rod ends and balls joints. there isnt any grease points on these but they still can wear out.
