Cowl Hood on SOM camaro?
i cant seem to find some really good pics of one, i want a 2.5 or 3 inch at the most. just trying to get some pics i think the harwood seems to flow a lil bit better over the vfn sunoco. Any pics of either. Would like to see some side shots, in car shots and front shots. thanks

Yea i do too, but they are everywhere and i like to switch it up a lil bit. I think a cowl is more aggresive. Its all just opinions lol

Your car does look damn clean! I like the wider cowls a lil better. Great looking car again.

BTW- watch how tall of a hood you get...if its to tall, it doesnt make it fun to drive on the road or parking lots
dont ask me how i know lol

I had to replace my hood and decided to get a 2 inch cowl. It is fiberglass and weighs a total of 20 lbs. I love it and think it is about a great height to get if you plan on driving it often on the streets. Every bit of the new hood looks and works awesome and I think it was a great choice for sure.
2.5 would also looks great, maybe the best option. And i would only go with 3 if maybe you are taller than 5'6''. Ha, thats my disadvantage with cowls...
But the 2.5 inch cowl is my vote, makes the car look much more aggressive from the side, as opposed to the aggressiveness from the front the ss hood offers.
Oh, and my hood is VFN. I'd for sure go with them over harwood based on my experience and other reviews.Last edited by Mahalik; 11-18-2010 at 05:41 PM.

i think there is a company that makes an SS hood that has a taller bump in it too. not sure the name but know i have seen it before. I know your car is a Z but it's an option if you can find who makes it.
