Color code Lightpewter metalic

hi,
I am living in the Netherlands, and have a 2001 Chevy Camaro, and she has the color 11u Light Pewter metallic.

The European Camaro's do have folding mirrors, which are not nice, so bought the "American" mirrors.

I brought the new mirrors to the painter, but he can't match the exact color, and he has sprayed them already 3 times.

does some one has the exact color code for: 11u light pewter

i hope someone can help me with this problem

Why not paint them balck, like your cars' B-pilar?
I have the same situation (even live in THe Netherlands :-) ) and bought the USA mirrors as well. I plan to paint em black...

hoi Mathijs,

zit je ook op dit forum, ik had deze vraag ook op het Nederlands forum gezet.
Ze hebben mijn "Amerikaanse spiegels" inmiddels al 4 keer gespoten.
Maar de juiste kleur schijnt niet te kunnen lukken.

Mijn kleur: 11 (WA382E) light pewter metallic, wordt in europa omgelabeld naar GMA98.11 (kleur nr. Akzo nobel), en daar zit vermoedelijk de afwijking.

Mijn spuiter is nu navraag aan het doen bij PPG (Amerikaanse lak), hopelijk komt het dan goed, zoniet dan geef ik het op, en zet ik ze op marktplaats.

zwart vindt ik persoonlijk niet mooi, de Z28 hadden zwarte spiegels, maar dan was het gedeelte van het dak ook zwart.

de volgende keer, doe ik het maar weer in het engels, anders zodemieteren ze me zodadelijk van dit forum af.

i don't know exact what the problem is, in the Netherlands most of the paint is made by Akzo-Nobel, they transformed the paint code WA382E to GMA98:11.

Maybe is that the problem, the GMA98:11 is not exactly matching or so
