I thought that too, but then you look at the Z06 and corvette, they do not have screens. Made me worry a little less about descreening.

I just ordered the fast toys MAF ends, ported, plastic, and descreened. Should be a neat little upgrade that didn't cost too much. It will keep my air cooler that's for sure.

Like $69 bux, not too bad. Cheaper and easier than an entire Sensor, which from what I hear causes problems.

did you see any difference? in the maf ends? o and if any body was wondering about this. I cut all the baffles and ridges out of my stock air-lid thinking it would serve the same purpose as the slp, well i did notice a very slight difference, but once I bought the slp and looked at it compared to the stock one the light cam onn. the lid is worth it dont waste your time modding the stock lid. not even sure if any body was as bored as I ws to try that but just my .02

Yeah that is a smart idea, just mod the stock.

As far as the MAF Ends from Fast Toys, still waiting on them... I doubt it will be anything major, but if you dyno'd it might be a few extra hp's.

totally different shape + larger outlet + no resonance chambers = way better airflow.

I took the baffles out of a stock air lid on one of my cars and it seemed to help cut em with a razor and they pop right out
