Coolant Bypass, air lid, magnaflow catback, plug wires, and of course all the free mods linked above. Those are some cheaper mods which won't cost you an arm and a leg. Goodluck and have fun!

Silver- 1998 Camaro Z28 A4
aftermarket air filter lid, adds a couple of (real) hp, makes the motor breathe easier.

Just buy a magnaflow and have a local muffler shop put it on for you. Thats a cheap and fairly easy install, and it will gain you some hp's.

From the factory, Coolant runs through your throttle body for cold starts, etc. Once the car warms up, you have 180 degree antifreeze running into your throttle body. This basically heats your air up going into the motor. Cooler air is better for performance, so you just run a new hose and bypass the throttle body. You can also buy a kit on ebay and they are real cheap.

i did the mods on my car and noticed a bit of difference.just by the slp air lid its about 90 bucks or so.do the ram air mod and it does the same thing as the flo pac kit....if you have a 2000-2002 it has the ls6 intake on it so you dont need to worry bout the egr mod if im not mistaken.....

IMO I think the free mods are not worth the time spent and some could harm your engine

the only thing your risking is takeing the sreen out of maf unless you port the trottlbody on your own then yeah that could mess it up but other then that no harm
