    ok but what about the color faded or not... my car is a 02 and its my dd and will there be any color fade or do you think ill be good... i work at a car wash shes always being cleaned, waxed, clay bar'd and buffed by our detailers... so do you think im good on that??

    Mine was repainted over and luckily the paint matched. Just took some rubbing

    You should be fine. My car had 65k miles on it when I removed mine and was probably a DD for the previous owner. Take off the smaller rear piece first if you want to test for fading and see what it looks like underneath. You can always put the trim back on if it is faded.
