I just installed eldelbrocks sdt catback on my 98 trans am . It has a nice deep sound. Going to the local 1/8 mile track soon .

performance wise you'll see more with a set of long tube header's and the stock muffler than you would any cat back system...

moroso spiralflows are nice... sound great and arent crazy loud until the gas is stomped on. i did a custom true dual setup with them, but it would be easy to use a spiralflow in place of the slp resonator on a loudmouth if you would be interesed... should sound nice.
i had a magnaflow catback. with the stock manifolds it sounded great. but as time went on, i wanted more, so i added slp longtubes. this made it alot louder and from there i had a loudmouth and then my custom setup that i run now. for the money, and if you have a stock motor and stock exhaust manifolds, the magnaflow is a great exhaust IMO
race it, wreck it, dump some time and cash into it and DO IT AGAIN...

    i have heard this before!
whatever you do, if you want it to last, go with stainless. the magnaflow i had on my car originally never rusted. not even the clamps rusted on me. depending on which flowmaster you get, it should sound nice. i guess it also depends on where you live, (im in northern new jersey) but if the car sees any salt or rain, and if you like the sound enough to risk it rusting out, i would go to autozone and get a can of super high temp spray paint, just for some added insurance...

I live in west texas.... it hardly ever rain's and we never see more than 1" snow... it's hot and dry 98% of the time.. in my opintion the flow master's where drap and not worth the money..
