You can, but the person sitting in front of the baby seat won't be happy.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2K Camaro Z28
I've had 4 different car seats in my camaro. My son adores my car. He hates my wife's G35, much prefers doddy car which is the Z28.

i have use a baby seat and a booster seat from time to time in mine. (actually, just last night) and they fit fine. though the baby seat was behind me and the booster on the passenger side. good thing there wasnt a passenger in the car.

Yeah, I got two booster/baby seats in the back of my Z. I had to shop around for seats that would set down into the rear buckets. If you want I can go check out what brand they are, I know I got one at target and the other @ toys'r'us/babies'r'us.
My daughters are 2 and 3.
The seats have the 5 point harness, as well as seat belt guides(the 3 points for adults). Something I found real interesting is the fact that my '02 has the high-mount anchors on the rear deck. It seems if I crash my kids might be the only ones to survive!
On a lighter note, my kids will chant: Go daddy go! at every stop light. & when I tell them to get in the car my 3 yr old says: its a race car.

I would appreciate very much if you could tell me what those seats are. My wife is due soon. If I tell her I've researched the best brand of baby seat for the car that'll get me major brownie points.

Brands, well for my toddler I have an Alpha Sport, but for newbies I recommend one of the nicer Graco infant seats. The Graco's are a two-part seat with the base staying in the vehicle (additional bases are like $30, that way you can keep one in your 'Maro and the other in a diff. car...like a minivan). You'll find that the real problem with picking a car seat for the bucket is finding one that will contact the bottom of the seat (so you don't have to put a pillow under it like Boomer Sooner had to). I eventually took a tape measure to pick a seat with a narrow foot print.
I still have to take the kids seats out periodically to let the leather bucket breath, or else the plastic 'flanges' on the seat will crack the bucket's leather.
Hope this has been helpful, let me know if there is anymore I can help with.
