Calling out the fully carbon fibered camaro ss'

I know there is 2 guys on this site that have fully carbon fibered their car bodies. I want to know where I can get all these carbon fiber body panels, all I can find is hoods

I am going to fully carbon fiber mine out if they hook me up with the site. I use to have the site and remember it being about $5000 or so to do it which is worth it since carbon fiber is stronger then OEM material and lighter and makes the car rarer

Well using search I found one of the guys is IYYOB but still can't find where the panels are for sale

I've been interested in doing this for some time too. But also can't find any links to where to get the panels. I'd like to do the entire car in carbon along with my next years ground up lsx project.

Me too.....Whole car will be carbon fiber at some point. I can find hoods all day using google but doors/fender/quarters/etc.... are damn near impossible. I spend 2 hours seaching google

Your best bet is to find someone who works with Carbon Fiber and they will be able to custom mold you any body panel you want.

This is the only way I have ever seen this done, other than hoods.

I don't think you will find a company who has premade fenders, quarter panels, etc. as this looks to be not a very high demand market for whatever reason.

Found this thread where IYYOB posted. I remember he has all panels except doors because they were damaged during shipping I believe

Seems to me they would never fit perfectly.... Might regret it when it is all done, unless you spend tons of money.

That's the idea, a full carbon Camaro, except maybe the floor pans, and some of the internal uni-structure with a full custom chassis build..

Or maybe buy a junk yard car get it on a jug, and use it to create a refferance shell for a full body mold..

I think the panels would fit just the same as OEM. I wouldn't do floor boards either.

The day that was posted, I did a search on Egay and only found panels, mostly hoods. There was noone listed as selling full bodies or all the parts to change over.
