I bought the car last year and the tires have already started to dry out. I bought it from the owner of a chevy dealership in north GA. he bought the car a few years back and had it with a collection of other camaros. He said he was starting a new project and need to get rid of some of his cars, it took a few weeks to get his price of 26k down to something alittle more livable for me but it was just what i was lookn for so i got it. My advice is to hold on to your 1 of 1 car because you will never get it back. O yeah, NO its not a d/d, i drive about 130+ miles a day and couldnt do that to this one.

I'm heading to fla in a couple of weeks what town is he in.
Yes i'll take the # If its not too much trouble, I'll call + see what he has, Cant hurt. I think my Z might be sold.
Ps , did you check out the Tan + black interior on the Z
in the pics,(I think it was you that wanted to know about it) I wish my SS had it, The grey is alright but the tan (Neutral) is much nicer. It stands out more + breaks up the color, much more interesting to look at.

So, all SS's and WS6's are SLP builds? You call them and give the VIN and they can tell you the build #?
On the color issue, I like the SOM also. I did have a NBM '98 AT 2.73 TA, I REALLY liked that color, but had to sacrifice it for what I really wanted, my '00 black WS6. The black is growing on me. Somebody in our Firebird club has a purple '98 WS6, seen it a few times at car shows. That color really looks good in person. Sounds funny in descrption, buy shows really well.

Do you have to call SLP to get the SS#? or is there any resources online that will tell by the Vin?

i called a while back and got my number 1,078/11,204. i'm assuming that second number represents the total number of cars (both camaro and firebird) they altered for that year right? i was wondering if anyone out there was able to find out more info as far as what number their car was in regards to just the slp camaros, or even out of only the slp camaro ss's?

The second number is the total number of camaro SSs for 2002.

    Heres the break down.

no i dont think that's right. i'm pretty sure the 2nd number i have listed is the total number of fbody cars slp altered for the 02 model year. that link you posted has the total number of ss's at a few dozen less than the number i listed. not every ss was altered by slp. plus a lot of other models (z28's ws6's, etc) were.
