A co-worker told me he could beat my car if it was an auto instead of a manual. He has a 2007 civic with a 5spd ( VTEC of course!). LOL!

Tell him you will race him in reverse, to give him a chance over 50mph lol. Or race him for gas money... Premo isnt cheap these days

An '07 civic? Well that's nice... tell him to put up or shut up, and that you're LS1 doesn't come out to play for free. This is only suggested if he's a "cool" co-worker and not some jerk-off that tries to be cool while knowing nothing about speed and things of that sort. But yeah, bet $50 or a tank of gas, let us know how it goes.

Just don't let the guy spread it out for weeks (or months) on end, like some of these other members have. If he doesn't bite for the nearest weekend, tell him it's an automatic forfeit

Oh, and because you have a pewter camaro, be sure to mention to him, that this paint is not only the prettiest but the most lightweight as well

i was speechless when i heard him say this. i immediately challenged him. he said he didnt buy his car ( which is deaerest to him above all else) to race or abuse. I laughed and said i would just take him for a ride so he could see what an idiot he was. he was like " no, i dont need to, I have a friend who drag races his civic with a short shifter and he lays the smackdown on z28's and ss's all the time. as long as there an auto." lol. I wanted to hit him.....

i wish. would you believe I dont know of ANYONE in my area ( steubenville ohio) with another camaro, even a v6. I rarely see them around here. I have never personally met someone who respected a camaro at all (until i took em for a ride!). Only stangs and ricers here.

Is this guy joking? If he hasn't modded his Honda - as in put an LS1 in it - he doesn't stand a chance! A4 or M6 or 1st gear only - it doesn't matter. As I always say, tell him he can't beat you with his mouth - so either put up or shut up. I'm up in N.E. Trumbull county - I have plenty of friends with autos that would be more than happy to show him how slow their cars are.
