c5 wheels

so since its winter time , and its hard to drive in rain on some bald a** tires , i decided to swap on some c5 stockies for the time being ...
tell me what you think , i think i might paint them black and machine the lip just to use them as a track set

He isn't talking about rolling on them all the time guys. The plan is to roll on them in the winter to preserve his better wheels and use them for track wheels as well. Who cares what they look like for either of those purposes, they serve their purpose fine.

Call me crazy, but I LOVE the look of 97-99 C5 stockers on any 82-02 camaro. They look even sweeter on a 98-02 Arctic White Z/SS!

i hate cleaning those you have to take them off to clean them on the inside

Weeeeell, typically you have to take most wheels off to clean the inside of them. I'm not just talking about the inside lip but the inside face of the spokes as well... if you want the job done right anyways

This is true, I forgot about the skinnys. I know my C6s are a pain, but I'm one for "edges" I focus alot on getting the edges clean, and they aren't that easy

i love the 10 spokes that come stock i take my time cleanning those... the hancook tires do awesome on road courses

IMO, the 10 spokes on the 01 and 02 SS's look better than the C6 Z06 wheels! Somethin' about them just combines the style of classy 'n' flashy almost perfectly... right next to the C6 wheels on mine

They do not look good...but if they are getting the job done, looks shouldn't matter. They would look better if they were black.

thiers a car show in concord ? lol first i knew of this ! ya if you let me know when it is , ill be sure to attend . i usually just have little meets with people at infinion from all over .

i have another 18 to go with the front , after this winter is over i will concider tradeing them , ill be sure to pm you later on if your still interested .

and yes they do get the job done , they are starting to grow on me , but i would love to get my hands on a set of c6 wheels

Sorry for the triple post ! but that green camaro next to the red one , is going to start to be parted out , its a 95 a4 with a Ligenfelter 383 stroker motor that was just put in but not wired or nothing , so the motors going to go into my brothers 3rd gen camaro but everything else goes ! pm me if you need any parts

The car show is from the beginning of summer to the end of october on fridays around 5pm till dark.
Sunvalley mall "baja fresh".
