    Build Number Info Inquire Here!!!!

    If anyone needs there build numbers from SLP here is all you need to do. Call them at 1-732-349-2109 between the hours of 8:30-5:00 eastern time. All you need is the last 8 numbers of your vin and they can tell you build # and how many were built.

    well let me rephrase that my number is 2138 i don't know if this is just of ss,s or if that is the whole production. i'm guessing they did one or the other first. or kept a count for ss's then started over with others. or just numbered the ss's as they made them. in less it the first or last doesn't really matter. it cool to know a number though.

    The last 8 numbers of the VIN is always the build number on any car(modern era).But from what I've seen there are no specific numbers to breakdown the numbers of what models and what options,colors etc(as far as which car was built first as a Z-28 for example) in my 2002 model year car. www.camarohighway.com has some interesting info. The "white book" has some options codes and prices,amount of models + engines,available @ www.bobmcdormanchevrolet.com for $15.95 + $3 s+h. Hope any of that helps.

    The build numbers for SS and WS6's is different. It tells what number our car is. The vin tells what number it was on the assembly line but not what number it was when it was on the SLP assembly line.
