im really surprised by how many autocad techs there are participating in this forum. We do need a CAD thread.

I am by no means a tech, I'm just a student, I honestly just took it cause I thought it would be cool to learn.

Damn class is 3 hours long though, I start at 2:30 and get out at 5:30

got to love those afternoon - night CAD classes, all my teachers were people that work for gm and taught after their regular job, so my classes were 2 or 4 hour and started at 6 at night haha.

A drafters thread would be sweet.

and nice hood on the black camaro, thats the first car i've seen one here that has it other than mine

That would be great to have those people from GM as instructors.

I took CAD drafting for a year back in high school in 1988. I made a big mistake by not taking it 2 more years. People were actually getting hired right out of our high school when they graduated making 30-40 grand a year to start. I just couldnt deal with the teacher-he was a vietnam vet POW and he would have flashbacks and freak out on people. He told me that sometimes when he drives -he would wind up in another State and not even know how he got there or if he ran red lights or hit other cars! scary!

I had a shop teacher like that, if anyone dropped something or hit something with a hammer and it was really loud, this guy would hit the floor and be screaming get down get down, it was some crazy shit. he almost got fired because one kid thought it would be funny to make a loud noise behind the poor guy on purpose and he damn near was going to kill the kid if another teacher wouldn't have been walking by at the time
