So im kinda half and half on the whole body kit thing. i like the small valance kits that just skirt the bottom and give it more of a agressive stance, any sugestions or companies to look at let me know thanks

I like the body kit the RS came with. I haven't looked around much though. I've seen some for sale under $800.

I like the way Camaros look with a mild bodykit.. nothing crazy though. If you get a body kit, get ABS or poly.. don't get Fiberglass - it's heavier and it breaks much easier. I had some ABS stuff on an Integra one time, and that stuff is durable and doesn't cost as much as poly. I whacked that front lip on all sorts of stuff and bent the crap out of it and it never broke or even changed in appearance.

my wings west kit, as mentioned above has a large opening for air to go through. However, the kit comes with a larger air deflector that comes down a couple of inches lower in the front (underneath the car). This causes extra drag and reduces fuel economy. I ended up taking it off. There were never any temperature problems - enough air is still allowed to come through. I got a body kit in the first place because I thought the camaro needed a little help in the appearance department stock. I bought the car for the engine/performance. The urethane is extremely durable. It's been ran into parking curbs (by other drivers I mistakingly let drive the car), and it still bounced back with no damage. Eventually touch up paint if you keep hitting it of course. I've been happy with the kit overall.

Arctic White- '00 Camaro M6 SS #3553
Of the bodykits I've checked out in the past (I used to be in the market for one), I personally like the bodykit Vizage makes the most. I've only seen it on one Camaro in real-life, but check out these two pictures:

Not too crazy about the front, but the sides and rear look killer!

Hate body kits period. I think our f-bodies look best with the way the bodies came off the line (except for those RS kits) hate 'em.
