Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Pretty much done. Here in NJ it's illegal to black out the lights. Although I have thought about the 35% tint for my headlights from headlightarmor.

BRIGHT RALLY RED- 2002 CAMARO Z28RS
From the guy who smoked his headlights
From your picture, you did a spectacular job of blacking out the tail lights of your car - way to go, dude!
From experience, a word of caution about blacking out, or even lightly smoke-tinting, your headlights: you may loose most, if not all, of your night-time illumination and visibility. I found out the hard way that VHT NightShades is a funny thing. You can put even a light mist across a lens, and it will block out more outgoing light than you would expect. The light doesn't look inhibited from the outside of the lens, but believe me, it is from the inside! And if you do apply even a moderate amount of approximately 5 - 6 very light mists like I did, the amount of light that the spray prevents from escaping will compound exponentially.
Case-in-point: I've specially wired my low beams to stay on when my high beams come on. Plus, I run the brighter 4300k HID bulbs in both my low and my high beams. With the lenses smoked as I described, I couldn’t see a thing past about 6 feet from my bumper even with all four HID lights on at once; my headlights were putting out about as much light as my parking lights. It was amazing...and costly as I had to replace my headlights so that I could safely drive at night.
Bottom line: Seeing someone else's tinted or smoked headlights is cool; the side-effects of owning them yourself generally are not.
But, cars are art and art is subjective. Make your art the way you want to, and then enjoy YOUR masterpiece.

it was easy to do...some sand paper, cleaner, vht and about two hours. It only took like ten minutes a light to do but the dry time took awhile
