i had to put the SS on mine, when I painted my berger panel I just used the emblem i took off from the rear

i believe you can order the emblems fairly cheap from gmpartsdirect but i'm not sure of the part number

I've seen just plain bowtie emblems off first gens too. Check out the ZL1 camaro.

those of you who have bought this cheap one. how does it install easy? drill a few holes or wat?

i have the usual 45$ ebay one, but I imagine they are all almost the same.

mine came with self tapping screws, so no drilling needed. just test fit it, mark it, and screw it on.

I've got a 69 SS grill emblem, but, it doesn't fit over the billet grill very well. So, I never put it on.

I bought mine off ebay its a remake but its very similar to oem, fits right onto my grill. I also used a lil jb weld just to secure it.
