    Do the 4th gen. I've seen lots of 3rd's with a BB, but not many 4th's yet. Put the LS1 in the 3rd.

    I dunno...that lil S-10 idea sounds like alot of fun. Great power to weight ratio. Unless you were planning on ever actually turning the thing. You could probably rule that out with all that weight hangin' over the front like that. Traction would be a bitch too, but otherwise you'd have plently of room in there to play, and you could most likely pick out a nice one wwith a blown motor for peanuts.

    I'd like to go cruise to, go and surprise people. My family is a big GM family but I still really want a Fox body mustang an put my BB in that.
    And the S-10 I looked into that and that would be a lot of moding to get a BB in their.

    I got a 68 nova trying to get rid of it, needs to much work but I didn't get it from a grandma, and ain't found one for 1500 yet either.

    So is it possible to put a big block into a 4th gen without messing with the struts and body ? just wondering if anyone has an answer the original question

    i dont think the big block will fit in a 4th gen, but i could be wrong

    Thats what I said as well...look how tight the LT1 fits in there, I don't think a big block would fit between the strut towers.

    BB fit in 4th gens. I'm sure it would be tight though.
