VFNfiberglass works hard to keep their customers happy, so if the hood you purchase does not align up right, give them a call. they will do their best to help you to make for a perfect fit.
you could go back with the SLP hood, but it's pricey. not sure if Suncoast makes them, but that's another popular brand.

I like the low-rounded cowl hoods on our cars.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
If the Ultra-Z hood works (fits) my Volant CAI then that's what I'm gonna get. So who's the VFN employee. I gotta ask some questions......

when you start trashing their hood, talking about how it won't fit. s/he will come on and give their side of the story, and a lil info the customer never tells you.
read all threads s/he posted in first to get the whole story. not sure how often they come on.

I haven't bought a hood yet so nothing to trash. I'm just wondering if it'll work with my CAI.

it was good. originally i wasn't happy with the projected time that they had for the hood to be finished and sent to me...but in the end it was fine. they claimed it would be 2 months before i got it but it turned out that i had the hood at my door in 3 weeks! talk about amazing. price was great...$600 verses $1k for a stock hood. fit and finish is nearly perfect...you can't expect 100% perfection from an aftermarket fiberglass hood...but by and large the product is awesome.
