Bad weekend

well my weekend started on thursday which i thought was gonna be fun (i was wrong) First off i have never let my wife drive my car until this weekend and she only took it to wally world and came back, what she didnt tell me is that she took the ttops off. so when she got back i wanted to go to town so i get on the freeway and some asshole wouldnt let me ovr so i did what i normally would and punched it and at about 80 mph i get smacked in the face by my ttop and get to watch it thru my rear view as it shattered, apparently my wife didnt latch them down good enough.... so i ordered a new and i had it over nighted so i got it back on and today some asshole stole all my blackouts ( headlights, turn signals and tail lights) so i pull the car in my garage and say the hell with it i drive my truck.. so i go to the mall and somebody hits my truck in the parking lot screw it im staying home for awhile

Holy crap that sounds like a bad weekend. Sorry about your luck. Is your truck older or newer? At least they didn't smash into your bird. A truck can usually take a hit a little better causing less damage.

Hopefully Monday will wash away the shit you had stepped in.

my truck is an 08 4door z71 and the car that had all the porbs this weekend was my 02 ss the bird is sitting in the garage looking pretty as usual

ok how the hell did they get your headlights? you cant get to them unless you open the hood? and the turn signals arent exactly easy......hell even the taillights you have to get into the trunk area.....or did you just have the covers that pop off?

now dont be afraid to do it.it sounds wierd to cook them but trust me it works.i did mine and nothing but compliments.hell after i did that and got some c-5 vette rims i got a thumbs up from some ones grandma!!!!

Or possibly look into some Halo's..I also have the same covers on my car (all of them) and I'm thinking of doing a complete "face-lift" and making her look a bit more up to date with clear turn signal lenses, and Halo's, I just added a SLP grill. Just something to think about, and they can't steal them either! Think how sweet she'd look with Halo's my friend.

dude, thats not shit compared to my week, look at my last posts to find it. theres "my poor car" and one about getting broken into. Spent almost a grand by the time i was done.
