Wrecked the SS the other night... Got "a little" too loose coming around a turn and ended up running the car into a 6" tall median... Sheered the Pass. side rear wheel completely off the car, actually ended up underneath the car. The axle shaft broke right behind the rotor... It's all still bolted onto the wheel thats... sitting in the trunk
Weird thing is, when you start the car and give it a little gas, you can see the end of the shaft still spins in the tube. 2 new wheels/tires .. new rear bumber (thanks tow truck man) and some work done to the rear quarter.

....oh yea.... and either a new rear... or just an axle shaft...

sucks dude maybe you can use the money for a down on the new camaro or a C62002 Z28 Auto (3.23 gears)
Lid, UD pulley, Shift Kit, 160 Thermo, Y-pipe, Panhard, TB bypass, Bellow, K&N, Strut Brace, Flowmaster, weight reduction.

Nah the car is totally fixable. Just sucks waiting on the slow ass insurance company

sucks, good you're ok!
better get a new rear, the impact might have messed up the gears + bearings. something you might not notice right away.
