bad cats....
i just got a letter stating the the cats on my 2000 z could be bad. the letter stated they(gm) would replace them if they went bad before 10 yrs or 100k miles. just wondering if any one has had problems or got this same letter?
LS7 clutch,01 slave,Corsa 3" stainless exhuast,drilled/slotted rotors + ceramic pads,160 thermo,Mti clear lid,msd 8.5 wires & Ngk plugs...more to come!

The letter is being sent to everyone they have an address for with a 00-02. My buddy had his drivers side replaced free under the old 8/80K warranty on his 2K after throwing a P0420 code.

Yep. Keep the letter, if you throw P0420 or P0430 probably a bad cat.
