Well those lights get hot, and just having it on so long would bug the shit out of me.

9t8z28 are you saying you have this mod? Or you just turn the ASR off as soon as you get in the car?

The heat will not harm the guage cluster. My ASR does not work at all cause it is didabled.

dir da dirrr, wasn't sure if your disabled switch fooled the computer upon start up. Keeping the light off.

So you are telling me that you would rather the light not come on at all. You would have no clue wether it was on or off. The only idication wether it was on or off would be the switch, which doesn't tell you anything.

I would rather see it "LIT" ASR OFF!
That way I would know wether I was O.K. to do a burnout or not!

This thread posting/flaming/whining/explanation is much more fun than reading the book!

Seriously, thanks for pointing out the obvious on this. My car came with a toasted clutch, so until I get that replaced, I have to ask what happens when you break traction... bummer

Lol it's cool, you're not going to hurt my feelings. But on my ASR switch there is a light, when it's on the ASR is on, when the light is off the ASR is off. Doesn't yours have the light on the switch?

Mine works the exact same way. I am not sure what happens to the factory switch/light settings when you install this mod.
