    anyways a friend and i were thinking, i allways go to redline 6,2
    but ive been noticing that i dont have a "pull" after 5,5(Hp peak)
    sooo i was j/w if anyone got better times shifting at 5.5
    or how ever ill get back, and explain more,

    Find out what the car likes by experimenting with shift points.
    Just because an engine revs to a certain rpm, does not mean that's it's best shift point...

    I had a blown, low 10 second non-GM car that would rev to 6800 rpm's, but actually ran it's best ET's with a 6100 rpm shift point.

    You have to find out what YOUR car likes and capitalize on that.

    I agree with that, I've always wondered. What is the point of taching a car up beyond its power range. These things peak at a certain point if you look at dyno graphs and whatnot. Like the last guy said, I would experiment, goodluck!
