I sent my car to a local shop for a few mods, cam, long tubes, true duals, gears, etc. My car is a 2000 ss with a six speed, with right at 80K easy 2 owner miles, the reason I say easy is because I know the previous owner, and she drove the car daily and very mildly. I talked to the shop and they got a baseline on the dyno of 296hp stock. The problem is now theyre are only getting 338hp and they say the car is running beautifully but only making 338??? The cam they used is a TR reverse split on a 111, Pacesetter LTs, a custom lid, TSP 3" true duals, 4.10s. They are telling me the car should be making 400+hp, and from everything I have read I think it should too. The last conversation we had there was talk of possible cylinder leak by? The car was very tight and never modded when we started. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks

I believe you need to get a good tune...from what I've heard...

Check to make sure the gaskets for the headers are in .. and nothing leaking... and like said.. get a good tune. 338 on all that is nothing. The headers alone almost put me there.

did that come with a tune. plus to add when you buy a brand new car lets say it has 300 HP but you dydno it the first day and it only has 250, but after like 2500 miles you got your 300 hp.
