any headlight doctors around?
so my headlights are cloudy as hell.any body know how to remedy this without me havin to buy a new set (wich isnt cheap)....any help is greatly appreciated....

i heard toothpaste is an easy fix, just rub it in and wipe it off

meguairs plastx and a small buffer, be careful not to burn it though. if they are really cloudy, 2000 grit wetsand and buff with the plastx. works 4 me and over time hand apply the plastx

search on here and you will find some details on how to shine them up...........wet sand is the answer. Start around 400 and work you way up. I will see if I can find some threads for you

2 options, first wet sand them until you like them again or buy a cheap set of halos from egay and swap the lens on them. You would have to heat them to loosen the adhesive to swap them.

also if you have some type of polisher it will make it MUCH easier

yeah ill have to get a drill.....so you started with 1000 grit and worked up to the 2000?

Headlights
Just had my oil changed and Texas Oil Exchange has a lifetime guaranteed headlight restoration for $69.00 looks like a wetsand method but they allow you to bring it back if it doesnt stay clear.
